The crew of Playin' Hooky teamed up with LivingSocial.com earlier this year to offer special charter packages just in time for Father's Day. They have already had several successful trips with customers who purchased those trips, and they look forward to more trips in the future.

While the season has just begun, the crew of Playin Hooky is already preparing for some exciting events.

 June 18: Playin Hooky hopes to participate in the 39th annual Freeport Husdon Anglers Shark Tornament. The winners are the five largest sharks, regardless of their species.

The fishing season has begun and the crew of Playin Hooky are ready for an eventful season!

There's still time to go fishing for Flounder and Fluke! Flounder fishing will be going on until May 30. Fluke fishing has just started and will continue until September 30.

Congrats to Captain Joe and the crew of Playin' Hooky who helped reel in a prize winning mako on June 26, 2010!

The crew set out to sea bright and early with the hopes of reeling in the prize winning shark for the 49th annual Mako Tournament hosted by the Bay Shore Tuna Club. The crew set sail at 4:30 am. After spending a few hours looking for the winning shark, they sailed back to the docks with their shark. This Mako weighed in at 173.5 lbs.
