While the season has just begun, the crew of Playin Hooky is already preparing for some exciting events.

 June 18: Playin Hooky hopes to participate in the 39th annual Freeport Husdon Anglers Shark Tornament. The winners are the five largest sharks, regardless of their species.

 July 10: Playin Hooky is proud to support the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition at their "Thrilla at the Villa" The event is at the Villa Monaco Resturant located at 778 Montauk Hwy in West Islip. There will be food, music, raffles, and prizes. One of the prizes will be a free fishing trip run by Playin Hooky. The event will run from 11am- 4pm. We hope to see you there!
